Mr Ram is a passionate teacher who can come up with ways to make the lesson more interesting for the students. During lessons, he explains in the simplest way possible such that everyone is able to understand each concept taught clearly. If not, he is always happy to take time off to answer his students’ questions. The questions that he compiled from past year A levels and JC papers for each topic really helped me strengthen my concepts and they serve as a useful tool for revision. As I came into the tuition with a weak foundation, I realised that with the help of his notes and explanations my conceptual understanding of several topics is way better now. Mr Ram is truly a dedicated teacher and I have enjoyed all my lessons with him.

Mr Ram’s lesson have been extremely fun and interesting. He was always easy to approach and was always open to answer all our questions. Not only that, he is able to simplify complex questions to aid our understanding and often provide us with exam tips. Being a devoted teacher, he gave his all and made sure that every student understood the concepts. He often made lessons productive and ensured that students understood concepts before moving on. I really enjoyed Mr Ram’s classes as Mr Ram allowed me to understand the physics concepts taught in a much more concise, effective manner. I benefited a lot from the lessons as I found it much easier to remember the different key points and apply them. In particular, I found the summary Q&A exercises especially useful as they were a good way of applying my knowledge and provided an excellent question bank for me to refer to and revise near the exam period.

Mr Ram was my physics tuition teacher, and his teachings were highly effective in deepening my understanding of the content and enabling my grades to improve sharply from a D to A grade by A-levels. He explains concepts in a clear and concise manner, clarifying any doubts immediately should they arise and is able to present information in a digestible manner suitable for students of various levels. He is flexible in his approach in teaching, from providing real world models, examples and analogies, to physical demonstrations, to better convey concepts and ideas. In addition, he is extremely encouraging and motivational, going out of his way to write notes of encouragement when marking pieces of work submitted. Thank you for being my Physics tuition teacher for the past 1+ year. I first joined your class detesting Physics because it was so difficult to apply and comprehend. Thank you for making Physics so much more enjoyable and teaching in such a way that is simple to understand. Your passion and enthusiasm in teaching Physics is truly infectious and the past year has made me appreciate and love Physics so much more. Mr. Ram is very knowledgeable and passionate about Physics, and has inspired us with his passion for it as well. I have always enjoyed Mr Ram’s lessons and having him as a tutor. He always makes it a point for lessons to be as engaging as possible, be it sharing with us knowledge that is beyond our textbooks or challenging us with questions that he came up with. Lessons with Mr Ram have always been stress-free as he believes that having a stress-free atmosphere provides the students with an optimal environment for learning to take place. He is a caring and helpful teacher who always provides consultations even after school hours.

On a personal level, Mr Ram is good with his interpersonal communication skills. He makes the effort to know every student personally. I was tutored by Mr Ram in H2 Physics for the 2013 A level examination, and to say that his tutelage merely helped me to boost my grades for the subject would be a sheer understatement. Mr Ram made it a point to constantly keep his students engaged in class, so as to ensure that we would not lose focus at any point of time. He would do this by providing us with thought provoking questions pertaining to physics, and it is noteworthy that a good number of these questions were created by Mr Ram himself. Another strong attribute possessed by Mr Ram would be his willingness to sacrifice his personal time to help his students with physics. A good number of us would frequently contact him to clarify our doubts in the subject, and Mr Ram never failed to reply each and every one of us, always giving us priority. Ergo, I would say that I was truly fortunate to have been tutored by Mr Ram, as without his exemplary guidance, I most definitely would not have been able to obtain my ‘A’ grade for H2 Physics.

To say that Mr. Ram is a teacher is an under-statement. He is a very approachable and a friendly teacher. I never had any hesitation before asking him any doubts and he would take his time out of his busy schedule to clarify our doubts. Sometimes even after explaining a multiple times i would still not understand, however he would be patient and explain again. MR. Ram has impeccable physics knowledge. He is clearly well knowledged and he is able to transfer over the knowledge over to us seamlessly.
